Welcome to MicroFlyer – a website dedicated to affordable fun flying in New Zealand  and the NZ made Bantam Microlights.  Rag and tube types mainly – if it has a shiny plastic look, chances are it wont be on this site.

As former owners of Bantam B20 ZK-XIE and now owners of Bantam B20 ZK-FLY (best rego ever ), and having owned and flown several other types over the years, we wanted to start a website to showcase  the fun affordable end of the Microlight spectrum from a pilots/owners perspective.  For those who don’t know, the Bantams are made right here in Gods-Own by Max Clear and Maxine Sutton and the team at Micro Aviation Ltd.  The single seat B10s and B20s are very similar to the early American Phantoms and Hurricanes.

This site is still under construction.  We are hoping to have some meaningful content up by the end of March for your enjoyment – in the mean time we are pinching bits and pieces from other websites to help flush it out – if we have stolen something of yours that you don’t want displayed here, please let us know and we’ll remove it ASAP.
